The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the provisional results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates.

The results, exclusive to Ghana, are now accessible online via the Council’s website, www.waecgh.org.

Heads of schools have been provided login credentials to retrieve results for their candidates, while individual candidates can access their performance through the same platform. WAEC has urged all stakeholders to remain vigilant against fraudsters claiming to alter results for a fee.

The Council reaffirmed the integrity of its results, which can be authenticated using its QR code verification system.

Cancellation of Subject Results: 4,108 candidates were penalized for bringing unauthorized materials into examination halls.

Cancellation of Entire Results: 483 candidates were found in possession of mobile phones during examinations.
Withholding of Results: Subject results of 781 candidates and entire results of 209 candidates have been withheld for various suspected offenses, pending further investigations.

Additionally, results from 319 schools have been withheld due to alleged collusion.
