About this increase of consumer price of electricity. If government was seriously tackling incompetency, corruption and mismanagement in ECG and in other institutions, Ghanaians would easily get along with new tariffs. It wouldn't be too painful to pay more if corruption and incompetence was seen to being eradicated. So far, even with all the exposed evidence of corruption, waste and incompetence at the ECG, no body is being held accountable, well, so far.

The people who's idea of management is to create, loot &share at the expense of everyone else.Those top executives and managers who's greed and wickedness has brought ECG to its knees are still in charge, why? And how?

Have they done this damage with the connivance of politicians? Is it why they've become untouchables? How can Ghanaians be made to pay more for electricity when we know how ECG uses resources at its disposal.

We urge government to act decisively to bring some sanity, some discipline to ECG management. That way, citizens will go along with any difficult and painful decision.

For what ECG top management has done to Ghanaians, serious repercussions must be brought upon them, 1, to serve as a deterrent and 2, to reassure the joe public that really, changes are afoot for a better Ghana, going forward. Ah! New week, new pain for Ghanaians, why?

ECG saga, nothing should be swept under the already filthy carpet. We must not allow that. Not this time.
