Kwame Owusu Fordjour, widely recognized as Dr. UN, a prominent Ghanaian socialite and self-styled academic, has made a heartfelt plea to the public for financial assistance as he faces a pressing health challenge. Dr. UN disclosed that he urgently requires surgery to address a severe kidney condition that has taken a heavy toll on his physical and financial well-being.

In a recent public appearance, a visibly weakened Dr. UN shared details of his health battle, revealing that he has been contending with this serious condition for a while. Initially choosing to keep his struggles private, he admitted that escalating medical expenses have pushed him to reach out for help. He now requires more than GH₵400,000 for the surgery, a daunting amount he is unable to cover alone.

Beyond the cost of surgery, Dr. UN mentioned that he continues to face significant expenses for lab tests and medications essential to his ongoing treatment. In support of his appeal, he presented medical documentation, underscoring the severity of his condition and the urgent need for intervention.

In his plea, Dr. UN called upon Ghanaians, especially those in the entertainment industry and the broader public, to extend their support. He expressed hope that the community's generosity would enable him to access the critical treatment needed to restore his health.
