A 20-year-old interior decorator, Pearl Agbomadzi, has been charged with murder following the death of a 74-year-old British national residing in Ghana, according to myjoyonline.com.
The deceased, John Scott Hughes, invited Ms. Agbomadzi to American House and subsequently took her to Philipo's Movie House in East Legon, where they rented a room.
According to the prosecution, the couple watched pornography and engaged in consensual sexual activity, the report added.
However, during the encounter, Mr. Hughes became unconscious and collapsed.
Ms. Agbomadzi, panicked by the situation, sought help from the movie house staff.
The police were subsequently called and transported Mr. Hughes to Legon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The deceased's wife has filed a complaint against Ms. Agbomadzi.
On October 24th, the defense counsel, John Baptist Ayedze, requested bail for the accused, who has been in police custody.
The prosecution did not object to the bail application.
