The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West Constituency, Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II, has lauded Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his forward-thinking vision, which he believes is in line with global digital trends. During Dr. Bawumia's campaign visit as part of his bid for the NPP flagbearership, the Chief referred to him as an emerging leader who is in tune with the digital transformation shaping the world.

Speaking to the youth of Ghana, the Chief said, "Your emerging star is here—Bawumia, the digital man." He urged them to support Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming December 7 election to help propel the country forward.

Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II also praised the NPP government for the significant development the community has experienced since its elevation to district status seven years ago. He noted that the level of development in Jinijini surpasses that of some districts that have been in existence for over 40 years.

He highlighted key projects such as the construction of the Agenda 111 Hospital and the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP), which have been instrumental in the region's progress.

Dr. Bawumia, in response, expressed his gratitude to the chiefs and people of Jinijini for their continued support. He shared his vision for improving agriculture, education, and reducing the cost of living, urging the people of Berekum West to vote for him. He also contrasted his vision with that of his opponent, John Mahama, asserting that Mahama had failed to meet expectations during his tenure as president.
