Ghana Cricket Association to Host ICC Level 1 Coach Tutors Course in Accra

Accra, Ghana - The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) is proud to announce that it will host the maiden edition of the prestigious International Cricket Council (ICC) Level 1 Coach Tutors course in Ghana from February 6 to 8, 2025 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium Conference Hall, Legon.
This significant event will bring together 15 carefully selected coaches from across Ghana, who will undergo training to become ICC-certified coach tutors.
The course is a critical component of the ICC's Coaching and Education program, aimed at enhancing the coaching capabilities of ICC Africa member nations.

The ICC Level 1 Coach Tutors course will equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to train and mentor future cricket coaches. The course will focus on tutor development, creating long-lasting positive impact on grassroots and elite cricket development throughout Ghana.

The course will be facilitated by experienced ICC personnel, Chris Cardoso and Jolene Campher, both from South Africa, and will cover key aspects of coaching delivery, including communication, planning and assessment.
