Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, is the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central in Ghana's Central Region. He revealed how Shatta Wale's counsel helped him win the 2024 parliamentary election. A Plus claims that he asked Shatta Wale for guidance on how to draw sizable fan bases in a manner akin to the musician's impact. He claimed that Shatta Wale counseled him to put people's wants and issues first. He cited the leadership of Jesus Christ as an example, stating that leaders win followers by providing and resolving problems. According to A Plus, the counsel was helpful for his campaign. He also said that Shatta Wale was very knowledgeable and that wisdom may be found in unexpected places. Naana Eyiah Quansah of the A Plus team was beaten on December 7, 2024.
