Okyeame Kwame, a well-known singer and songwriter from Ghana, recently spoke candidly on TV3. Because he wants all of the food in his stomach to go before putting another one in, Okyeame disclosed during the broadcast that he takes his breakfast at 11:30 am.
"Because I engage in intermittent fasting, I have my breakfast at 11:30 a.m. and get up at five o'clock. I want to finish everything in my stomach before I eat anything else because I don't eat for luxury; rather, I eat to give me energy, and once I have that, I don't need to eat anything else. Since I dislike sugar, I will simply cut a banana into scrubbles and add it. That is all a human being requires. I take care of all my amino acids, eat again in the afternoon, and then take my vitamin C or orange juice in the evening.
"I therefore chuckle when people assume I'm a vegetarian. I don't eat a lot of protein or hefty foods. You don't just eat anything, which is why they advise to "eat for your thoughts"—just think about what you're eating. "Don't worry yourself if you don't need to eat eggs and animals," Okyeame Kwame advised. The video, which TV3 just posted on their official Instagram page, sparked intense public reactions.
