During the Special Voting exercise in Bimbilla, Gerti Justice, a temporary Electoral Commission (EC) officer, was arrested for reportedly taking a picture of his ballot. Police arrested him after party agents brought up the matter.
The officer should be prosecuted for the infraction, according to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The suspect admitted to the police, and it was decided that his name would be taken off the list of EC officials for the day, according to the Progressive People's Party (PPP) parliamentary candidate.
