Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president, was seen giving a campaign speech in the pouring rain, continuing his desperate bid for power.
Instead of ending his address or finding cover, Bawumia stood in the rain to continue his appeal to Ghanaians when he was giving a speech in which the rain was falling all over him. This is the second or third time this campaign season that Bawumia has been seen speaking outside in the rain, underscoring the pressing need for his campaign to win the election.
On social media, Ghanaians mostly ridiculed him in spite of his attempts, claiming that God was punishing him for his poor leadership and that he had already lost the elections. One internet user said, "Can you imagine getting pneumonia and losing elections? 😢." Another person said: "When God began punishing you 😂😂😂"
