Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, John Mahama's running partner, is scheduled to start an eight-day campaign tour that would visit four Northern areas, including the North East, which is home to Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Dr. Alhaji Bawumia. The Savannah Region, the Upper West Region, and the Northern Region will also be covered on the November 13–23 tour.
Professor Opoku Agyemang will interact with a range of professional associations, traditional leaders, party members, and members of the public while on the tour.
In addition to urging people to support parliamentary candidates running on the NDC ticket and vote for John Dramani Mahama as Ghana's next president, she is anticipated to outline the NDC's platform for the 2024 elections. In order to ensure a resounding win for the NDC, Professor Opoku Agyemang recently visited the Volta Region and urged the populace to vote in huge numbers on election day. This visit comes after her visit to the region.
