After supporting a certain presidential candidate in the 2019 Ghanaian general elections, Prophet Kofi Oduro, the founder and head of Alabaster International Ministry, has provoked heated controversy.
Prophet Oduro carefully examined the accomplishments of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the previous eight years during a recent church service. Citing unmet promises such the "One Village, One Dam" and "One District, One Factory" projects, Prophet Oduro voiced his dissatisfaction with the NPP. He also blasted the NPP for implementing the E-levy, which hasn't produced any noteworthy results.
Prophet Oduro, on the other hand, commended the NDC for its achievements during their time in office, which included the building of E-blocks, better roads, and enhanced marketing facilities.
The prophet cautioned his followers against choosing the incorrect candidate and then turning to prayer to make amends. In order to inform his members prior to the election, he declared that he would present a comparative comparison of the accomplishments of the NPP and NDC over the previous eight years. Ghanaians will be closely monitoring the election as it approaches to see if this development affects the results.
