Goosie Tanoh, Julius Debrah, and other important figures are appointed Chief of Staff by Mahama.

John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect, has announced important nominations to the Office of the President, which will begin on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Julius Debrah, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, is at the top of the list. Debrah had held the same position in Mahama's previous government.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a Mahama aide, confirmed the selections in a statement released on January 6 and stressed their strategic significance in advancing the goals of the next administration.

The complete list of appointees consists of:
1.Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu – Acting Spokesperson to the President.
2.Marietta Agyeiwaa Brew – Legal Counsel to the President.
3. Augustus Goosie Tanoh – Presidential Advisor, Responsible for 24-hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development.
4. Dr. Valerie Sawyerr – Senior Presidential Advisor, Governmental Affairs.
5. Prosper Douglas Bani – Head of Interim Security Taskforce.
6. Prosper Douglas Bani – Head of Interim Security Taskforce.
