While Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the parliamentary candidate, was unharmed at Adjakaamanso, at least six Amenfi Central National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters were hurt when some alleged thugs attacked Madam Gyan and her group on Saturday night (November 30) as they were returning from a campaign. Her campaign car sustained damage after these guys broke the glasses on it. The victims' hands, legs, and heads were all injured.
One of the victims (name withheld) stated that Madam Joana Gyan and her entourage were returning from a campaign at Adjakaamanso, and they are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital while the case has been reported to Wassa Dominase Police Station for more inquiry.
The victim claims that a car unexpectedly crossed in front of Joana Gyan's car, jumped on them, and allegedly destroyed the car.
Since the police have started their investigations, the attack's cause is unknown at the time this article was filed.
