The duly elected president John Dramani Mahama will not attend the Condition of the Country Address, which is being delivered by friendly President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, according to Hon. Sam George, the representative from Parliament for Ningo-Prampram. According to Hon. George, President-Elect Mahama is now abroad attending to his basic obligations ahead of his inauguration ceremony scheduled for January 7, 2025. Speaking to the media, he explained that Mahama's absence shouldn't be misinterpreted because he is focused on making plans for the use of force.
"Ghana's position is guaranteed to remain strong on the international scene because he is currently on genuine duties outside the country. "He will be fully ready to take over on January 7," said Hon. Sam George. In his remarks, the Ningo-Prampram MP also urged President Akufo-Addo to take advantage of this important opportunity to express genuine sympathy to Ghanaians for what he described as the "untold difficulties" his people endured while working for his organization.
I want the President to use this opportunity to express regret to Ghana's great people for the financial setbacks and administrative blunders of the past several years," he remarked. The President's commitment to frame the current state of the country and address thoughts on their organization's tenure is known as the Condition of the Country Address. As his next term draws closer, President Akufo-Addo's final stop prepares for the upcoming organization of President-Elect Mahama. The temporary exercises underway as the nation prepares to launch its new leadership are highlighted by Mahama's absence.
