John Mahama is the person in Ghanaian politics with whom I feel the strongest, but you are Kwaku Appiah's number two.

Known as Appiah Stadium and a strong supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Frank Kwaku Appiah has urged Kennedy Agyapong, a well-known member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to provide advice to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo), the NPP's vice presidential candidate for the 2024 elections. In an open discussion with Agyapong, Appiah Stadium voiced disapproval of Dr. Opoku Prempeh's language and behavior, arguing that he had to use more tact when speaking as a candidate for such a prominent political office.
Kennedy, I understand you. John Mahama is my favorite figure in Ghanaian politics, but you come in second. John Mahama speaks to me more than anyone else, even though I respect you and am aware of your wealth and influence, Appiah Stadium said. In response to Dr. Opoku Prempeh's recent comments, he continued by urging Agyapong to intervene and provide advice to the NPP's running partner. "Napo speaks by heart, therefore I've instructed you to give him advice. As an Assemblyman, I am not vying for any post. However, since Napo is a running partner, give him advice. People pay attention when you speak," he underlined.
Given his position on the NPP's presidential ticket and the significance of his ambitions for Ghana's vice presidency, Appiah Stadium feels that Dr. Opoku Prempeh should be more circumspect in his public remarks. Earlier this year, Appiah Stadium revealed a very personal anecdote about former president John Mahama in an emotional interview. In a moment of great personal peril, he remembered how Mahama's intervention had saved his life. Appiah Stadium, who was then an NPP member, had been threatened by a known gang.
