John Mahama travels to the East to solicit votes.

If elected, former President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to turn Koforidua into a metropolis and restore the Koforidua market to stimulate the local economy. As part of his Eastern Region tour, he was speaking to party members at a small gathering at the Koforidua Accra truck station.
He pledged to give the region's roads first priority once he takes office since he was concerned about their condition. In order to combat unemployment, Mr. Mahama discussed the NDC's unique agroprocessing zones program, which is to be implemented in all regional capitals. At Kyebi earlier, Mr. Mahama criticized the NPP government for causing economic instability, which led to misery in the nation. He compared the difficulty to punishment and said that Ghanaians should learn from it to carefully consider promises before acting.
By putting the elephant back in the bush, Mr. Mahama implored the populace to repent of their error from the previous eight years and cast their votes for change. Mr. Mahama urged the populace to alter their voting habits and support the NDC in order to bring about development in the region during a comparable mini-rally held in Suhum. He urged that he needed the NDC parliamentary candidates to assist him in developing the nation and cautioned against voting with a skirt and blouse.
