If elected, former President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to turn Koforidua into a metropolis and restore the Koforidua market to stimulate the local economy. As part of his Eastern Region tour, he was speaking to party members at a small gathering at the Koforidua Accra truck station.
He pledged to give the region's roads first priority once he takes office since he was concerned about their condition.
