President-elect John Dramani Mahama and Vice President-elect Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang were given a thorough tour of the Jubilee House by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo prior to their formal inauguration.

The tour gives the new leaders a chance to become acquainted with the presidential activities and facilities that would be the focal point of their administration.


The visit was personally led by President Akufo-Addo and featured updates on current policies and initiatives, a tour of operational areas, and introductions to key staff members.
Ghana is known as a beacon of democracy in Africa, and this gesture emphasizes the cooperative nature of the country's democratic system.

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang will become the first female vice president of Ghana, making history in the process.


In order to preserve Ghana's stability and unity, President-elect Mahama also recognized the significance of the transition process.

The ceremonial swearing-in event is set for Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Accra's famous Black Star Square, while the tour takes place the day prior.
The historic occasion is anticipated to be attended by dignitaries from all around the world, including heads of state, ambassadors, and senior officials.
