The National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme's (NEIP) CEO, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has asked actor Kweku Manu to abstain from any conduct that would alienate the public from the New Patriotic Party (NPP). On Friday, November 22, Nkansah posted on Facebook in response to a video that was making the rounds on social media. In it, Kwaku Manu, wearing NPP colors and having the word "DPP" written on it, urged Ghanaians to vote for the party, implying that not doing so could result in election fraud.
The NEIP CEO has expressed displeasure with this performance and asked the actor to cease "misbehaving" while dressed in NPP clothing. Nkansah emphasized people's freedom to support whichever political party they choose, but he also emphasized the need to refrain from any actions that would damage the NPP's reputation. "Those who know Kwaku Manu should tell him to stop misbehaving with NPP colours."
