Elikplim Akurugu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, was spotted interacting with outgoing Member of Parliament Sara Adwoa Safo at the Kantanka Technology Expo, marking a rare instance of cooperation in the Dome Kwabenya seat. With its electric cars and ground-breaking technological innovations, this high-profile event showcased Ghanaian ingenuity and garnered a lot of public and political attention.
With his recent resounding victory over Mike Oquaye Jr. to unseat Dome Kwabenya for the NDC, Elikplim Akurugu is still making progress in winning over voters. She is committed to community involvement and supporting local projects, especially those that promote economic development and technological advancement, as seen by her attendance at the expo. Kristo Asafo Mission hosted the Kantanka Technology Expo, which included state-of-the-art innovations such as environmentally friendly technology and electric cars. These developments demonstrate Ghana's capacity to become a dominant force in Africa's technology sector. Beyond party affiliations, Akurugu's presence with New Patriotic Party (NPP) mainstay Adwoa Safo demonstrated a common dedication to national progress.

After a difficult term filled with criticism and controversy, Sara Adwoa Safo, the Dome Kwabenya MP since 2012, is scheduled to resign. Her attendance at the expo is a symbolic transfer of power to Akurugu, whose win represents a shift in the constituency's political landscape. The two politicians' uncommon appearance together at such a momentous occasion conveyed a strong message of solidarity and advancement. This instance also illustrates Akurugu's approach of projecting herself as a unifying force, overcoming differences to concentrate on the advancement of the constituency.
With Kantanka Group's most recent inventions taking center stage, the event also provided a forum for advancing the "Made in Ghana" cause. These innovations have the potential to lessen Ghana's reliance on foreign technologies while simultaneously showcasing the country's engineering expertise. Elikplim Akurugu's involvement at this historic occasion solidifies her increasing clout and willingness to support projects that benefit the Dome Kwabenya constituency and Ghana as a whole.
