Ketu North MP Hon. Edem Agbana has praised former President John Dramani Mahama for making youth empowerment a top priority in his administration through well-chosen appointments. Agbana claims that Mahama's choice to give young people important positions in ministries and government organizations marks a revolutionary change in Ghanaian political culture. Agbana, a strong supporter of youth leadership, wrote a passionate post on Facebook expressing his respect for Mahama's faith in the younger generation's potential. He pointed out that the President's vision for a reset program that promotes national growth and development is in line with this audacious action. H.E. Emphasizing the responsibility placed on the appointees, the MP urged them to make the most of the chance. He urged young people to show their abilities by assiduously pursuing Mahama's goal of an inclusive and prosperous Ghana. Many young organizations and campaigners have found resonance in Agbana's remarks, and they see these appointments as a positive step in closing the leadership gap between generations. They contend that long-term development and innovation depend on involving younger leaders. Agbana, a first-time Member of Parliament, has continuously argued for youth participation in politics, calling it essential to creating a leadership system focused on the future. In order to earn the confidence that has been placed in them, he has challenged young leaders to approach their positions with integrity, humility, and a results-driven mindset.
