Some voters in the special polling have shared their ballots online, in violation of Ghanaian regulations that prohibit voters from making their ballots publicly available. This website has access to images that have subsequently gone viral; the media and several security guards have posted their ballots on social media.
A few of the images are ballots that this website has viewed, including as those for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, John Dramani Mahama, and Darkoa Newman, the MP for Okaikwei South. According to Article 49 (1) of Ghana's constitution, secret ballots must be used to cast ballots in all public elections and referendums.
