Gloria Kani, a Ghanaian actress and evangelist, has counseled unmarried women to work hard to support themselves instead of relying on males for daily maintenance. She claims that although she began dating at a very young age, the guys she dated treated her like a second-class citizen.
Gloria Kani revealed how her first partner abandoned her when she became pregnant. Gloria reported that even though she cared for her boyfriend's mother until the end of her life, he still left her and her child. Later on, she met another man who deserted her after getting her pregnant. Nevertheless, despite having two children from two different men, she was still able to marry a decent man.
She then counseled women to use greater caution when choosing the guys they date.
