Although Nicki Minaj is well-known for her bizarre and vibrant ensembles, especially when playing live, the Super Bass hitmaker made a dramatic style debut in New York City on Wednesday.
'Nicki Reloaded' was the headline of the Grammy Award-winning rapper's onstage speech at the eighth annual Forces of Fashion event in Lower Manhattan. Vogue global editorial director Anna Wintour was also there for the high-profile event.
For her presentation in the Big Apple, Nicki, 41, looked amazing in a navy blue bodycon dress with a high neck, capped t-shirt sleeves, a thigh-high split, and a draped hem.
The actress accessorized her subdued look with a striking crimson lip and sleek, straight raven hair. Nicki accessorized with a tiny gold purse and big gold bangles on each wrist.
In one picture, she shielded herself from the October chill in New York City by wearing a black trench coat over her shoulders. She accessorized it with basic yet stylish black stiletto heels.
"A few different women in my life, at different times in my life, told me: 'When you get to a certain age, you're going to be so happy,'" Nicki said to the audience while taking the stage at the fashion event alongside Eva Chen, Vice President of Meta.


"You won't worry about, think about, or care about the things you used to. You'll own this assurance."


"And I said, no," she went on. I was, as it were, worrying over little things. They were all fine, of course. Everyone was okay.
