Nana Otumfuor Osei Tutu claims that Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo visited his palace for prayers when he sought to become president of Ghana in 2016. Now that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is set to step down from office, he made a final courtesy visit to his palace to bid farewell after eight (8) years of serving Ghanaians.
Nana Otumfuor Osei Tutu believes that President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo's actions are an expression of gratitude. This indicates that the President values the contributions made to his life.
"I would want to express my gratitude to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. This attitude of remembering to express gratitude is not shared by everyone. He is a person of gratitude. He came to ask for prayers and support when he wanted to become president. I gave him the blessing to run for government, and four years later, he came back to me. He and I have spoken on multiple occasions, and he is currently residing in an office. After serving in office for eight years, he is here to express gratitude and bid farewell. When discussing peace for the next elections, Otumfuor said, "He is very grateful."
