The government's Ghana Music Experience (GMX) App, which was just introduced by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has received praise from prolific Hiplife poet Pope Skinny. The Ghanaian musician believes that the project is a fantastic place to start, and that it doesn't matter if the GMX App is new or not as long as it will benefit the artists.
It begins somewhere, and if I see something that would benefit us a little, I feel grateful for the initiative," he said to host Amansan Krakye. It will benefit all of us, whether or not the app is new, if the system functions flawlessly and that is how it will be.
"I do appreciate it a lot once this is an initiative that is here to support musicians like what's happening abroad for us to make money," he continued. "So, whether the initiative is new or not, I think that the GMX App that was launched by Dr. Bawumia is good. It's a good start," he said.
