The death of one of Ghana's most well-known female musicians occurred early on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The public is extremely affected by this tragic news. Respected Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adomawanwani made the formal announcement on his Facebook page, Kofi TV. The unfortunate report was delivered by Kofi Adomawanwani, who currently hosts Angel TV's Evening News.
After a brief illness, Mrs. Naa Amanua passed away, according to the notice. A prominent personality in Ghanaian music, Naa Amanua produced many successful songs and won multiple accolades over her career. Being the first woman from Ghana to join the legendary band Wulomei, she created history. Known for her uncomplicated approach, commitment, and love of music, she won over many hearts with her distinctive voice and cultural contributions to Ghana.
On his Facebook page, Kofi Adomawanwani paid respects by posting: "May you rest in peace." Naa Amanua, the first female member of the renowned band Wulomei, is now at rest. Rest in peace; we shall always cherish your distinctive voice.
