Nartey, Sam During a recent TV3 interview, George disclosed that Samira Bawumia mistakenly referred to her husband as an economic wizkid while, in fact, she meant to refer to him as an economic fraudster.
"Look, I tell people, forget Mahama's record, look at Nana Addo and Bawumia's record, when Nana Addo decided he's no longer running, look a president is always active in his first term. Look, after Nana Addo won his second term, he began his plan of handing over to Bawumia so he decided to sabotage everybody in his government for Bawumia to emerge. In January, 2021 the cedi, after Nana Addo has finished his first term, I'm not talking of NDC o, the cedi was 6.2 to the dollar, when they handed over free range to the mate, to try run the country, we are at 17 to the dollar today".
"Forget about Nana Addo's first four years in office. When he was elected to a second term in 2021, a bag of cement was about GHCC35. Under Mahama, it was worth GHCC20. It went up to GHCC 120 when Bawumia assumed power and became the heir apparent. When Nana Addo was in complete control, he changed the cedi from 4 to 6.2. When he thought Bawumia should begin preparing to take over, Bawumia changed it from 6.2 to 17. Cement was moved from GHC20 to GHC35 by Nana Addo.
"Look, Bawumia is a collosal disaster and a failure of what they call an economic wizkid. When his wife said he was an economic wizkid, she misspoke; she meant that he was an economic scammer." When Bawumia took over in 2021, he moved it to ghc120. Sam Nartey George stated, "Bawumia is a disgrace and a catastrophe; he will be taught in economic classes for the next four generations on how to take a healthy economy and destroy it."
