She received the prize for her outstanding performance in the film "Red Carpet." This triumph, which was revealed at the AMAA gala in Lagos, Nigeria on November 2, is a new turning point in Appiah's incredible career and highlights her two decades of commitment to her art. Appiah's performance in "Red Carpet" stood out against fierce competition from other gifted contenders.
Under the direction of renowned filmmaker and costume designer Samira Yakubu, Samis Media produced the daring film, which was directed by Frank Rajah Arase.
