The NPP's request for the Electoral Commission (EC) to compile and announce the Tema Central constituency results was granted by the High Court. Additionally, the court mandated that the EC finish compiling the results from the two voting places that are still open and release the final results by January 6, 2025, at the latest.
In order to guarantee a calm and orderly exercise, the court has also directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to provide sufficient protection throughout the collation process.
