In a heartbreaking turn of events, a police officer's wedding day became a terrible nightmare when he unexpectedly passed away, leaving his future bride and family in shock and sorrow. In Akyem Anamase, Eastern Region, Chief Inspector Godwin Benibah, 46, was scheduled to marry his fiancée, Florence Debrah, 29 on December 26, 2024. Florence claims that the day started out like any other wedding day, with her getting ready for the ceremony at a hotel in Anamase.
But the happiness and excitement didn't last long since she soon heard sobs and learned that her soon-to-be husband had passed out. Florence and her family were shocked and devastated when Chief Inspector Benibah was declared dead despite being taken to Anamase Clinic. Florence disclosed that Chief Inspector Benibah had left her the day before to remind wedding guests and go to the Police Headquarters in Accra to pick up a special uniform, however the circumstances surrounding the groom's death are still unknown. There was no sign of anything wrong, and he had been in a good mood.
According to Florence, her fiancé was a kind and giving person who had supported her and her family, especially her 46-year-old single mother, Madam Afia Buruwaa... Madam Buruwaa emphasized the profound effect his passing will have on the family's lives by characterizing the dead as their provider and rock.
