The Mexican ambassador to Ghana, Madam Norma Ang Sánchez, paid President-elect John Dramani Mahama a courtesy call in his Accra cantonment office on Thursday to congratulate him on winning the December 7 election. In order to boost productivity, she said, Mexico was prepared to impart its agricultural expertise to Ghana, particularly in the areas of maize and coconut cultivation. She urged Ghana to view Mexico as a vital friend in the international arena and demanded that the two countries' bilateral ties be improved.
In order to improve collaboration and experience sharing, Mr. Mahama praised Mexico for establishing an embassy in Ghana and thereby expanding her bilateral partnership. Since Ghana and Mexico are both developing nations, I do believe that there is a great deal of opportunity for us to work together and share knowledge. "Because we all encounter the same challenges in our interactions with the larger, more developed nations," he stated.
