Blind Bolgaria, a self-described NPP fan, recently unleashed a vicious attack on the New Patriotic Party (NPP), calling them "stupid" and saying they are paying for their own mistakes in a video. Bolgaria's remarks coincide with mounting worries regarding the party's communication plan and how it will affect their prospects in the 2024 election.
Bolgaria claimed that the NPP is dishonest and refuses to accept reality in reference to the way the party responded to Hon. Abban Bagbin's activities. He compared Bagbin's conduct to those of former Speaker Hon. Mike Okoi, who fired Amoako Asiama in Fomina, emphasizing that the latter's actions were addressed in a proper manner in parliament.
Bolgaria further emphasized that the NPP's assertions that dissident lawmakers are running in the future election rather than the current one are baseless. He made it clear that these people have received notice and have filed to run as independent candidates.
Bolgaria announced that he is aligning himself with Ghana's interests rather than the NPP, a dramatic shift from his normal allegiance. This change of allegiance is noteworthy because Borgaria has always identified as an NPP supporter.
The NPP's poor communication plan, experts caution, would hurt its chances of winning the 2024 election. Bolgaria's critiques show just how difficult the task ahead will be for the party, which is trying to end the two-term cycle.
