Twene Jonas, a controversial Ghanaian content creator based in the United States, has promised to marry Farida Mahama, President Mahama's daughter.

In a recent live "warm-up" video, Jonas declared that he is prepared to wed Farida, but they must split the expenses equally.
According to Jonas, he is not like other weak men who get married and pay for the wedding out of pocket. He promised to make sure he and his future bride split the expenses so that they would both lose out on the money they spent on their wedding if things don't work out.
