Unfortunately, a 10-year-old girl who was sent to South Africa for medical treatment with Ibrahim Mahama's assistance has passed away.

Lisa Laryea, 10, who was suffering from stage 4 acute myeloid leukemia, tragically died in a heartbreaking turn of events. Ibrahim Mahama, a Ghanaian philanthropist and businessman, compassionately intervened after Lisa's plight attracted a lot of public attention. Mr. Mahama was moved by Lisa's situation and kindly paid the more than $110,000 bill for her care. On November 24, 2024, he personally made arrangements for Lisa and her mother to be transported to South Africa in an emergency-chartered air ambulance so they could receive expert medical care. Lisa's condition worsened and she passed away too soon, even with the help of cutting-edge medical procedures and the steadfast support of her loved ones.
People all throughout the country have expressed their condolences and thought about how fleeting life is as a result of her demise. For Lisa and her family, Mr. Mahama's deed of compassion had given them hope during a trying time. Even while the country grieves Lisa's passing, many are still motivated by his dedication to humanitarian causes.
