On Monday, January 27, hordes of NDC youth gathered at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) head office to greet newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Malik Basintale on his first day of work. The atmosphere was electric. The event came after Mr. Basintale publicly invited fans to attend him at his inauguration via his social media accounts. As they waited for Basintale to arrive, the NDC youth showed up in large numbers, cheering and waving party gear. There was a sense of excitement among the employees at YEA headquarters as they got ready for the introduction of their new leader. When the new CEO arrived, security measures were in place to maintain order. President John Dramani Mahama recently confirmed Malik Basintale's nomination as YEA CEO. Members of the NDC youth wing have welcomed the president's appointment with enthusiasm, seeing him as a grassroots leader and a beacon of hope for youth empowerment and job creation. Former NDC Deputy National Communications Officer Basintale is renowned for his ferocious speeches and commitment to the party's mission.
