Following the 1-1 draw between the Venezuelan national team and the Argentine national team on date 9 of the Qualifiers, Lionel Messi and Yeferson Soteldo got into a heated altercation that ended in an argument rather than anything more, but it appears that Messi is still upset with the world champion, something for which his own supporters did not hold him accountable.
In addition, the Gremio football player conducted a live Q&A session on his TikTok account, fielding queries from his fan base, including one on the situation with Inter Miami's Argentine number 10.
"What was it that Messi told you?" "I'll tell them later," the Venezuelan stated and smiled sarcastically in response. He thinks that I was born in the metropolitan area known as "El Muertico."
But it didn't stop there. The woman speaking to the Venezuelan live laughed and asked, "What did you say to Messi? What did you gain from the World Cup? Soteldo then responded, "I didn't tell him anything." To get him serious, I gave him a pat on the back.It was he who could not seem to shut up.
The Venezuelan player's remarks went viral on social media, and the Vinotinto supporters themselves demolished him. Some of the comments made by X users were, "It's embarrassing for others," "It's because of things like this that we don't go and don't deserve to go to the World Cup," "What happens on the field stays on the field, there are codes," and "he doesn't even know."
The response from Venezuelan supporters to Soteldo's remarks regarding his altercation with Messi How did Lionel Messi and Yeferson Soteldo's crossing go in the middle of the game?
Leo and Soteldo got into a fight near the end of the game, and a fan in one of the stalls caught it all on camera. After exchanging words with the Vinotinto number 10, Messi attempted to hit the player in the back of the head with his palm in the photos that went viral on social media. Messi appears to be really irate with the player.
Soteldo shoved the Argentine after shaking off his hand in response to this gesture. At that point, a Venezuelan player showed up to diffuse the tension.
