With a straightforward message for President Mahama, IGP Dampare storms the Jubilee House.

A group of Ghana's senior security officers were led by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to the Jubilee House this morning for a brief but important meeting with President John Dramani Mahama. He was there to send a simple message to him and also to reaffirm the loyalty of the security services to President Mahama as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.
Known for his rigorous leadership and dedication to law enforcement, Dr. Dampare gave the President a straightforward but impactful message of unshakable support.

IGP Dampare reassured President Mahama during his speech that the Ghana Police Service is prepared to uphold national security and peace. He emphasized that under his leadership, the police force would remain professional, impartial, and committed to safeguarding the lives and property of Ghanaians.


President Mahama, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Dampare and the entire security delegation. He praised the IGP’s dedication to modernizing the police service and strengthening public trust. The President noted that a professional and efficient police service is crucial for maintaining peace and fostering national development.

Aside the Inspector General of Police's presence,
Their attendance at the event demonstrates how important they are to Ghana's security system. They have been internationally acknowledged for their leadership roles in enacting reforms that have improved security operations and strengthened public relations.

At a time when national security and unity are top concerns for the Mahama administration, the IGP and other security leaders have pledged their allegiance.
