NPP Must Address Dust Pollution from Tafo to Opass Junction Road Construction
The Abuakwa North National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Organizer has cautioned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to take immediate action to address the severe dust pollution caused by the ongoing construction of the Tafo to Opass Road.
"The incessant dust pollution from the construction site is killing us," said Shaker. "Residents, especially the vulnerable elderly and children, are suffering from respiratory problems due to the unchecked dust emissions"
The Youth Organizer emphasized that while the NDC supports development projects, the NPP must prioritize the health and well-being of the community.
Shaker, urge the NPP to implement effective dust control measures, provide adequate compensation to affected residents, and ensure timely completion of the project.
The NDC will continue to hold the NPP accountable for their actions and inactions."
