The parliamentary candidate for Abuakwa North Constituency, Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko, recently led an interactive session with market women at Akyem Tafo and Akyem Osiem markets in the Eastern Region. He was accompanied by Chairman Sadid Mohammed (also known as "Arab Money"), Hon. Lative, the Constituency Secretary, Hon. Gloria Akoto Bepong (Deputy Women’s Organizer), and other constituency executives. Additionally, Miss Dzifa Tegah, National Deputy Women Organizer, and Hon. Tina Efah, Eastern Regional Deputy Women Organizer, were present for the engagement.

The purpose of the interaction was to listen to the concerns and needs of the market women and discuss possible solutions. During the session, the market women voiced their challenges, which included the lack of basic amenities and infrastructure in the markets, as well as the rising cost of goods that is negatively impacting their businesses.

In response, Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko assured them that their concerns would be prioritized if he is elected as the Member of Parliament for the constituency. He committed to working closely with the market women to address their challenges and help improve their businesses.

Chairman Sadid Mohammed and the regional executives also encouraged the market women to rally behind Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko and former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections, stressing that they are the best candidates to bring development to the constituency and the nation.

The market women expressed their gratitude for the visit and pledged their support for Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko in the forthcoming elections.
