Wasa Agona, in the Amenfi Central Constituency of the Western Region, is set to come alive with a massive campaign rally on November 27, 2024. This event will mark the official launch of Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s parliamentary campaign as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) prepares for the December 2024 general elections.

The campaign launch follows a court ruling that affirmed Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s eligibility to contest as the NDC parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central. The occasion promises to be a grand show of strength and solidarity, drawing a large crowd of party supporters and sympathizers.

Hon. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, NDC General Secretary, will kick off his three-day tour of the constituency leading up to the launch. Former President and NDC presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, will serve as the special guest of honor at the main event on November 27.

The rally, set to take place in Wasa Agona, will provide a platform for Joana Gyan Cudjoe to outline her vision and development plans for Amenfi Central. Her campaign will focus on addressing the pressing needs of the constituency and emphasizing why she remains the best choice to represent the people in parliament.

Supporters are optimistic that Mahama’s presence will electrify the campaign and inspire the grassroots to mobilize strongly for the NDC. The event is seen as a significant step toward consolidating the party’s influence in Amenfi Central, a seat currently held by the NDC.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s campaign launch marks the beginning of a rigorous effort by the NDC to maintain its hold on Amenfi Central and contribute to a broader victory in the December 2024 elections. With the unwavering support of the party and its presidential candidate, the NDC is confident of achieving success at both the parliamentary and presidential levels.
