With just 24 days until the general elections, Edgar Kwaku Asamoah Boateng, popularly known as KB, has launched “Operation Code: 24-Hour Economy” in Abuakwa North to rally support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The initiative, which officially kicked off today on Nopras FM after its launch two days ago, is being implemented through 21 information centers in the area, engaging the local community to garner strong backing for the NDC.

The launch was spearheaded by Hon. Kudjo Adukpo, former Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC and a member of the Mobilization, Security, and Operations Committee for the NDC in the Eastern Region. He was joined by Hon. Conrad Nyarko, the Abuakwa North Constituency Deputy Communications Officer. Together, they are leading this strategic campaign to secure votes for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama; vice presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang; and the party's parliamentary candidates nationwide.

“Operation Code: 24-Hour Economy” aligns with the NDC’s broader policy vision of establishing a 24-hour economy to boost productivity, create jobs, and stimulate growth across critical sectors.

The key pillars of the NDC’s 24-Hour Economy Policy include:

1. Expanding Employment Opportunities
Promoting 24-hour operations in sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and hospitality to create additional job shifts and reduce youth unemployment.

2. Boosting Local Businesses
Supporting small businesses to extend working hours, thereby increasing productivity and enabling local enterprises to thrive.

3. Enhancing Healthcare and Public Services
Extending operating hours for hospitals and essential services, ensuring round-the-clock access to healthcare, emergency response, and critical public services.

4. Strengthening Security Infrastructure
Reinforcing security measures, including enhanced street lighting and police presence, to ensure safety during nighttime operations.

5. Developing Transport and Infrastructure
Improving transportation networks to support 24-hour movement, ensuring seamless flow of goods and people.

This campaign in Abuakwa North is tailored to address local concerns, connect with constituents, and showcase the NDC’s vision for a dynamic, round-the-clock economy. Through local platforms like Nopras FM, KB, Hon. Adukpo, and the NDC Communications Department are actively engaging residents and explaining the tangible benefits of the 24-Hour Economy Policy.

Hon. Kudjo Adukpo’s deep knowledge of the region, combined with Hon. Nyarko’s familiarity with Abuakwa North, enriched this morning’s discussions. They emphasized how the policy could unlock new opportunities for growth and development in the constituency.

The NDC’s 24-Hour Economy initiative stands as a commitment to a progressive and transformative vision, promising to redefine economic prospects for Abuakwa North and the nation as a whole.
