Asamankese, Ghana – In a groundbreaking initiative to uplift and empower women in business, Me Boafo Foundation recently organized a transformative Women’s Empowerment Program in the West Akim Municipal Assembly. The event brought together aspiring and established female entrepreneurs from across the region, equipping them with essential skills for managing and growing their businesses.

Led by Dr. Emmanuel Obiri Addo, Executive Director of Me Boafo Foundation, the program offered participants critical insights into business management, registration, and the importance of outstanding customer service. Dr. Addo emphasized efficient operations and legal compliance as crucial tools for growth and stability, encouraging the women to formalize and enhance their enterprises. “A registered and well-managed business opens doors to countless opportunities,” he remarked, inspiring participants to take steps toward strengthening their businesses.

Adding a practical dimension to the program, Ms. Angela Danso, a skilled instructor, conducted hands-on workshops in makeup application and wig-making. Her training focused on practical skills that participants could directly apply, expanding their services and boosting their income potential. The sessions were met with enthusiasm, as many participants expressed excitement about incorporating these new skills into their ventures.
