The youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Fanteakwa North, in partnership with the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Mr. Apaw Wiredu, is set to organize a 24-hour "Economy Walk for Victory." Scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, this event reflects the NDC's strong commitment to winning the 2024 general elections.

The walk will kick off in Dedeso township , passing through key areas across the constituency. Organizers aim to attract 7,000 participants, showcasing the widespread support for the NDC within the region. This ambitious event also emphasizes the NDC’s growing presence and influence in the Amanfi Central Constituency.

More than just a political rally, the "Economy Walk for Victory" is intended to promote both party unity and healthy living. Supporters will walk in solidarity, fostering camaraderie and creating a shared sense of purpose. This gathering also provides an opportunity for the NDC to strengthen community ties and connect directly with voters.

In addition to the health and fitness focus, the walk will serve as a political engagement platform. Attendees will have the chance to discuss campaign strategies, share ideas, and deepen their connection to the party's vision. The NDC will also promote its candidates—Mr. Apaw Wiredu for parliament and former President John Dramani Mahama for the presidency. Flyers will be distributed during the event, reminding participants that Mahama is number eight on the ballot, while Mr. Apaw Wiredu occupies position two.

This event will also serve to outline the NDC's policies and vision for Ghana’s future. Supporters will learn more about the party's transformative plans and initiatives for national development if voted into power on December 7. The 24-hour walk aims to solidify the party's message, drawing attention to its commitment to economic growth and improved livelihoods.

The "Economy Walk for Victory" is part of a series of strategic initiatives by the NDC in Fanteakwa North to boost support and momentum ahead of the elections. Constituency leaders encourage all supporters to join in large numbers, showcasing their dedication to the party’s mission. The event stands as a symbol of the NDC's determination to secure a strong mandate in the 2024 elections, underscoring the unity and resolve of the Fanteakwa North Constituency in its quest for victory.
