According to a grieving member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ghanaians paid President Akufo-Addo demonic money.

In the 2024 elections, the disgruntled NPP woman claimed that Ghanaians did not recognize the contributions made by Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia boastfully told the media after admitting defeat to John Mahama, "What Akufo Addo has done for Ghanaians, and they claim they cannot see them, when the good stuff is done for you, and you claim not to see it." Ghanaians utilize evil to reward Nana Addo for a job well done; we won't resist, and the NPP has opened our eyes.
The president-elect John Dramani Mahama was also challenged by her to lower the price of Kenkey to one cedi.
John Mahama should allow the price of Kenkey to be 1 cedi, and he should sell it to us for that amount, she challenged.
She went on to say that John Mahama need to make everything in Ghana one cedi and give the people money every morning.
