The Electricity Company of Ghana has declared that, as a result of scheduled maintenance, certain parts of the Greater Accra Region will be without power for the majority of Monday, January 13.
In order to support the exercise, the business said in a statement posted on Saturday morning that certain parts of the region will remain without electricity. They stated that the maintenance is intended to make the supply of services to the public more efficient.
The Agbogba EP Church, Haatso, and the neighboring areas would be particularly hard hit by Monday's power outage. In these places, residents have been warned to prepare for the power loss.
The maintenance comes even as rumors continues to spread that the country will run into a total blackout as there is no enough fuel for power generation. However, president Mahama has assured the Ghanaians that his administration is working around the clock to prevent the power outage.
