A shocking case of corporate fraud has surfaced, implicating Angela List, a director of Adamus Resources Ghana, in an elaborate scheme to seize control of the company.
The controversy centres on the unauthorized transfer of a 90% controlling stake in Adamus Ghana, originally owned by Adamus Resources Australia, to Nguvu Mining Limited, a company allegedly controlled by List herself.
The scheme reportedly involved Moses Kobena Bosompem, an employee of Nguvu Mining, who facilitated the transfer despite lacking the legal authority to act on behalf of Adamus Resources Australia.
This action directly violated a ruling by the Supreme Court of Western Australia, which affirmed Allan Roy Morrison as the sole director and secretary of Adamus Resources Australia.
Ms List is accused of exploiting her insider position to manipulate company records, enabling the illicit transfer of shares and effectively usurping control from the rightful owner.
Allegations also suggest complicity from the former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, raising concerns about possible political interference in the scandal.
The fraudulent transaction has thrust Adamus Ghana into legal and financial turmoil, with significant implications for its stakeholders.
While the Australian court invalidated Bosompem’s actions, the transfer has already shifted control of Adamus Ghana to List’s Nguvu Mining, further complicating efforts to restore order.
This unfolding corporate scandal underscores critical lapses in governance and fiduciary oversight, placing Angela List at the centre of one of Ghana’s most contentious business controversies.
Legal experts and industry observers are closely watching as investigations progress, with growing calls for accountability and reform to prevent such breaches in the future.
