A watchful driver stopped a thief in the act of attempting to steal a phone in Madina, a busy district of Accra, Ghana, and the heist ended tragically.

The robber attempted to steal the driver's phone through the car window while cars were stalled in traffic, according to witnesses.

The motorist, unfortunately for him, was vigilant and quick to respond. The robber apparently tried to flee, but the driver caught him by the arm and held on.
