Sam Pee Yalley, President of the Professionals Forum of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has cautioned the party's elected Members of Parliament against voting to remove the incumbent Speaker of Parliament, , during the election of a new Speaker on January 6, 2025." He believes that is the ideal candidate to guide the august house, particularly with the NDC holding a significant majority.

Highlighting Bagbin's experience and the necessity of his leadership in parliamentary matters, Sam Pee Yalley addressed members of the NDC Professionals Forum in Accra.

He stated: "We want to be the first to dare say that our Members of Parliament should not dare make any mistake in changing you.

We are not just making a political call. "We have researchers among us, we have persons who are on the ground and knows what the ordinary man and woman feels and knows and we have come to the firm conclusion that you will be needed even more in this one-sided parliament.
