The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Western Region has secured GH¢9.7 million to enhance its operations and improve power distribution efficiency. The financial support is part of ongoing efforts to address infrastructure challenges and ensure reliable electricity supply in the region.

According to the Western Regional Manager of ECG, the funds will be used to upgrade transformers, replace faulty equipment, and expand network coverage in key areas facing power instability.
